As mentioned early, there are several Rwandan Diaspora associations in the world such association are coordinated within an umbrella and the umbrella is named Rwanda Diaspora Global Network (RDGN).
The umbrella is a non profit organisation, led by Diaspora members from different countries and whose objectives are the following:
ü Promotion of cooperation and relationships between Diaspora members,
ü Establishment of a strong worldwide networks
ü Promotion of the Rwandan culture in Diaspora,
ü Establishment and promotion of cooperation and friendship Diaspora and Foreign institutions in the area of culture; knowledge, ICT, Unity and reconciliation and community development,
ü Establishment of Diaspora national and international forum

DGD deals with different fields where come across both National and International institutions working with Rwandan Diaspora. For the successful results, this kind of works requires strong relationship between DGD and those institutions and that is why DGD has tried to build up a network with some National and international institutions.
Therefore, this part indicates main institutions working with the Diaspora General Directorate in its daily activities.
