As mentioned earlier, the Rwandan Diaspora has been recognized as one of the main solution to the brain drain problem. To overcome such a situation, the DGD has elaborated a volunteering project in partnership with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) and once there is volunteering opportunity for the Rwandan Diaspora, DGD through emails and Rwandan Embassies disseminates the information to its Diaspora so that they can prepare themselves for the opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS 

1. To be a member of the Rwandan Diaspora,
2.  Volunteer application letter through VSO Recruitment bases
3.  Volunteer CV
4. To possess qualification and professional experience corresponding to the needs of the beneficiary institution

FACILITIES FOR VSO INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS

  Ø  Pre-departure training,

Ø  Return air tickets to and from Rwanda,

Ø  Basic accommodation,

Ø  Health insurance

Ø  Basic living allowance of approximately $300 per month
